Expanded tax credit proposed by Senate

Last night, the U.S. Senate unanimously voted to add a tax credit of up to $15,000 (sponsored by Senator Johnny Isakson of Georgia) to their version of the economic stimulus package. If passed, the Senate plan would still need to be reconciled with the version of the plan approved by the House of Representatives last week, and then signed into law by the president.
