Mortgage rates at highest level in seven months Roberto Freddie Mac today released the results of its Primary Mortgage Market Survey (PMMS) in which the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 5.59% with an average 0.7 point for the week ending June 11, 2009, up from last week when it averaged 5.29%. However, last year at this time, the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 6.32%. The last time the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage was higher was at the end of November, 2008.
